Hello Everyone! Please help me win a self portrait competition I just entered! The prizes are great (one year's worth of my life paid for!)... the recognition is phenomenal... the exposure will be amazing... so I'm definitely in it to win it! Just go to http://juliannechristoffel.see.me/aw2011/grid and vote on my portfolio. I'm really trying to get this out to as many people as possible. The goal I've made is to hit 10,000 votes by the end of the competition - April 15th. Also, the votes can be done daily... so the more, the better. Lastly, please share this with your friends as well! Thank you so much!!

Alright, so finally... I have another art exhibition coming up. It's a group show, so it'll be me and about 15 other artists. I'll be showing my Diaries of a Smoker series at this one. Here's the info on when, where, etc: Date:    February 12th, 2011 (probably around 8pm or so) Where: The Doshi House             3419 Dowling St.             Houston, TX If you're in Houston, I'd love to see you there! ...oh, and I updated my website - check it out:  www.juliannechristoffel.com Love, Me

This show was a great one. It was full of incredible artists, guests, and music. Although I wasn't able to meet all of the artists face to face, I was fortunate enough to see all of their work up-close.. and the wonderful reactions they created as a result. Many of the artists were able to sell their work tonight. I don't think I was one of them....but the exposure I was able to get as a part of this show was much more than I ever expected. I was afraid my work would always remain dormant... forever sitting as mere digital images on my deteriorating Mac computer. Sure, people would enjoy them over the internet...but would I ever be able to
